According to the book "William Wells of Southold and His Descendants", Mary died and was buried at the Old Burial Ground, Brattleboro, Windham, VT. William Wells of Southold and his descendants A.D. [Hardcover]: Charles Wells Hayes: Books - or: Charles Wells Hayes. I am trying to figure out who the parents of Mary Youngs, wife of William Wells, were. Mary was born in in Southwold, England, and died in in Southold, NY. She married William Wells in (probably). Her parents were probably either John Youngs and Joan Herrington, or his father Christopher Yonges and his wife Margaret Elvin.

This Wells' lineage has been the subject of two books, William Wells of Southold and His Descendants by the Rev. Charles Wells Hayes in and William Wells of Southold by Walter M. Wells a century later in Virginia and Maryland Stephen Wells came to Richmond county, Virginia in His descendants headed south in to Louisiana. This Genealogy goes on to show the son as the Rev David Wells who married Huldah Tuthill Paine about and succeeded the Rev Jacob Corwin, his uncle, in ministry duties: "from lived with his uncle, the Rev. Jacob Corwin; in became the Pastor of the "Strict Congregational Church" at Riverhead (Wading River), which had been organized.
